Had a few nice DX contacts on 10 meter this month. I love seeing the 10 meter band open up… lots of fun. Talk to ya on the air waves.

I have my equipment set up and am back on the air. Loving the new house, huge yard and plenty of room now.

Hope to hear everyone on the air.. Also I made my first Canadian contact, It was a pleasure talking with Va2ZZ.

Hope to make more 10 meter contacts.

Well I have been busy moving and getting the new house ready for the last month.

We have a lot more room now and I am looking forward to getting my antennas back in the air and talking on my radios again.

Hope to be back on the air in the next week or so.

I think I am going to try my hand at 10 meters, I am thinking about buying a “Magnum 257″ 10 meter rig, it seems like a good deal for under $200 considering it is AM / FM / USB / LSB.

I will tune a “Solarcon A-99″ vertical antenna to use with it and perhaps throw up a horizontal dipole for SSB.

The Indy Ham Fest is coming Saturday July 11 this year and I can’t wait.

I attended the Ham Fest last year and had a great time and found some good deals, although it rained last year.

It has been awhile since I have updated this blog or been on the air.

The weather is getting pretty cold and I need more indoor things to do so I will be on the 2 meter FM band a lot more often.

I am thinking about picking up some 2 meter sideband equipment and or perhaps some 6 meter equipment.

Hope to make some good contacts out there.
